People

The best part of this trip is meeting wonderful people from all over the world.  IN the last 2 days, we have had wonderful interactions with people from San Diego, Sacramento, France, 2 couples form Melbourne (who did not know one another), and a large family from Italy and England.  And it goes without saying – the wonderful Italians who deal with our non-existent Italian – and speak in great English.

It just warms my heart that we have these short (sometimes 30 seconds, sometimes 30 minute) interactions with random people, and we all leave the situation refreshed and happy.

It makes my heart feel warm.

It makes me even happier to see my children having these same conversations with people of all ages – the 16 moth old in the restaurant, or the grandparents on the boat.  They are really growing and becoming wonderful people.
